This is an early traditionally made Navajo jar. It is unsigned and dates to the late 1960s-early 1970s. Measures 6 inches in height and about 6 inches handle-to-handle. Its made from all traditional materials and "glazed" with pine pitch. It was traditionally fired as evinced by the nice smoke clouds. A must have for collectors of American Indian pottery.
